Richard Mudge, Ph.D., has been inducted into Delcan’s Emeritus Program. Delcan is a multi-disciplinary engineering, planning, management and technology firm.

Mudge, a resident of Potomac, is a nationally recognized expert in the economics and finance of all modes of transportation. Mudge has held a series of management positions as a transportation consultant. These include co-founder, president, and chairman of the board for Apogee Research. Previously he directed the transportation policy group for the Congressional Budget Office and worked in applied research at the New York Office of the RAND Corporation. He currently serves as vice president for Delcan and leads the firm’s work in economics, finance, technology and strategy. Mudge received a Ph.D. in regional economics and a master of arts in regional economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor of arts in economics and geography from Columbia College.
